They say that this fogger has an odor neutralizer, Which creates a fine, dry effective fog that stays airborne and reaches all cracks and hard to reach places that bugs can make a home of.

Killing visible and hidden bugs all over the area where the fog is present on contact. When used as directed it can work like an M.O.A.B on bugs. It is said to be odorless and non-staining.

Your curtain, bed sheets, and carpet and other things alike are safe from being stained with this product.

What Does Hot Shot 20177 No-Mess Fogger Kill

What DoHot Shot 20177 No-Mess Fogger Kill

It kills both flying and crawling insects for weeks after applied. This can be very effective with roaches and ants. I know from personal experience.

I remember moving a piece of cardboard I had behind a door I have from something I ordered a while back. Once I moved it I saw hundreds of dead ants behind it.

Not knowing that the ants were even going that route in my house at the time. But thanks to the widespread reach of the bug bomb I used. It was able to sniff them out and kill them on the spot.

This particular bug bomb/fogger is said to be ideal for

  • American Cockroaches
  • Fire Ants
  • Pharaoh Ants

But also kills

  • Black Carpet Beetles
  • Brown Dog Ticks
  • Carpenter Ants
  • Crickets
  • Earwigs
  • Firebrats
  • Fleas
  • Gnats
  • Rice Weevils
  • Roaches
  • Saw-Toothed Grain Beetles
  • Silverfish
  • Small Flying Moths
  • Spiders
  • Waterbugs

This particular bug bomb/fogger is not effective against bedbugs.

How Far Can The Fogger Reach

Hot Shot 20177 No Mess Fogger 3-Count Review
How Far CanThe Fogger Reach

It says that just fogger can go up to 2,000 cubic feet. That’s more than enough room to cover a room/area in your house.

It’s ideal to use them inside an area that is closed. If you used it outside it wouldn’t be as effective as it would in your homegarage, basements, attics etc.

It is $.9.97 for 1 case pack as of May 22, 2017. This price is subject to change over time on Amazon’s website. They also have a case pack of 6 for $81.44. The Same rule applies for this as well.

  1. Hey Zach, I used to work in the New York City public school system for 3 summers as a teen back in the 1980’s. Your post brings back sort of fond memories ha ha! The roaches there were huge, in comparison to some others I’ve seen in other places, and we fog bombed them regularly. I remember being in the cafeteria, and no roaches were in sight. We sprayed something, I don’t remember the name, in the heating grates on the wall, and all of a sudden, there must have 30 or 40 of them scurrying out of the grates. The stuff works! Your post is very helpful for people with bug issues, you do a good sevice!

    1. Thank you and I know exactly what you mean. I didn’t have my experiences on the job. But I had them at a previous home I had and other places.

  2. Hey Zack!

Man, every summer ants colonize my flat, and I’m on a third floor!

This Fogger sounds quite effective for those annoying guys, so I’ll definitely look into it.

By the way, do you know if it’s safe for pets, I got two cats and I don’t want them to get intoxicated with that.

    Thanks for the review! 😉

    1. I wouldn’t have any pets or kids around when the use of a fogger is in place. Just to be on the safe side. Even if said that it was ok for pets or children to be present. I still wouldn’t use a fogger around them.

  3. Hi there. Do you know if this would be suitable for fleas from cats? I have 3 cats and although I use flea treatments on them regularly, there have been occasions when we have had infestations in the house which are unpleasant. Would love to find something that really works to get rid of the eggs too.

    1. Foggers would get the job done. Be sure to clean up well once you have used one though. So things like pets and children cant accidentally chew on something with fogger residue on it.
